Our summer season is in full swing now and a high of 116* was a "Whoa Hey Nellie, this is Temecula not Palm Springs or Arizona!!" Then the water restrictions were released and we now have water for our sun drenched and dying yards. We were fined if we used too much water so a lot of people went drought tolerant in their yards. So at our bi-monthly meeting, I asked if we could encourage everyone to plant annual flowers around the base of their front yard trees without having to get Architectural approval to help get our neighborhoods looking beautiful again and our Board President, Darrell Connerton agreed that would look very nice! So let's get our flowers on and see what street can become the most colorful and get our yards green again!
